Coherence-enhanced entanglement between isolated atom and Jaynes-Cummings atom

Ali Othman, Samara National Research University

Abstract

We found the exact solution for a model consisting of two dipole-coupled identical two-level atoms, one of which is an isolated, and the other interacts with the thermal mode of a infinite-Q cavity. The coherent initial atomic state is under consideration. The results showed that atomic coherence may greatly enhance the degree of entanglement induced by a intensive thermal field. We also showed the possibility of the disappearance of the sudden death of entanglement for a model with an atomic coherence.
