Abstract
The talk will present a numerical study of edge modes of surface magnetostatic spin waves in rectangular ferromagnetic waveguides.
Waveguides with a thickness of 10 μm and widths ranging from 30 to 100 μm are considered in the Damon–Eshbach geometry. Using micromagnetic modeling in MuMax3, the spatial distribution of the dynamic magnetization is analyzed under central and edge excitation at various frequencies.
Special attention is paid to the cases when the waveguide width is comparable to its thickness, as well as to the influence of geometry on the localization and mode composition of spin waves
