Single photon sourсe based on SPDC process aided with time multiplexing
Abstract
The present work offers a demonstration of a time-multiplexed HSPS based on the SPDC process, incorporating precise calculations and modelling of key source characteristics, specifically purity and heralding efficiency. Moreover, the work provides an analysis and approximation of the probability of a single photon generation after time multiplexing. Consequently, the probability of generating a single-photon state was increased from 0.005 (in the absence of multiplexing) to 0.008 (with multiplexing).
