The Development of cancer and metastases The role of A. Gurwitsch's concepts of mitogenetic radiation in tumor nodes in these processes

Victor A. Ovsyannikov

Abstract

According to modern understanding, cancerous growth arises in living tissues due to carcinogenic factors accompanied by UV radiation. This radiation is necessary to suppress the body's defense mechanisms. After the formation of a primary tumor, it begins to emit UV radiation itself and continues to grow even in the absence of carcinogenic factors.

Regarding metastases, it is known that their growth rate exceeds that of ordinary tumors. We hypothesize that this is also determined by the suppression of defense mechanisms in these areas.
