Abstract
Many studies, claiming the phenomenon of distant biological interactions, both old and new, suffered from lack of reproducibility. While some authors (like Hollaender) concluded that the verified effect did not exist, others (like Fels) regarded this irreproducibility as a key intrinsic property of the investigated effect, originating from complex multifaceted interactions between the biological systems and the surroundings. The talk is dedicated to the issue of reproducibility in works on distant biological interactions, and false correlations shadowing real biological phenomena.
