Abstract
This paper presents the results of a study on dual-mode modified cylindrical resonators suitable for the design of bandpass filters and multiplexers in the centimeter and millimeter wavelength ranges. The technological and economic advantages of the design are determined by the possibility of manufacturing devices from only two parts, regardless of the number of resonators. Experimental investigation of the fabricated filters and a four-channel Ka-band output multiplexer demonstrates the aforementioned advantages of the resonators.
