Abstract

This paper presents the results of experimental measurements of refractive indices at various
wavelengths in the visible and near IR ranges (480-1550 nm) for tumor tissue (model alveolar liver
cancer), altered tissue after application of upconversion nanoparticles NaYF4 with a solution of human
serum albumin (HSA) and photodynamic dye (Cy3)). The refractive index (RI) was measured on a multi-
wave Abbe refractometer DR-M2/1550 (Atago, Japan) using interference filters for the spectral range of
480–1550 nm. An analysis of the obtained dispersion dependences was carried out.
