Signal accumulation in FitzHugh-Nagumo neurons

Abstract
Here we study the effect of a set of two input pulses on a FitzHugh-Nagumo neuron and establish conditions under which the neuron will respond to both pulses, to one of them (the first or the second), or not respond at all. The conducted studies can be useful in choosing the parameters of neurons for constructing neuromorphic SNNs.
