Abstract
In the framework of the density functional theory, the electronic and electrically conductive properties of monolayer thin structures of MXenes and Transition Metal Dichalcogenide (TMD) was studied. MXenes are a class of two-dimensional inorganic compounds that consist of atomically thin layers of transition metal carbides, nitrides, or carbonitrides. TMD are atomically thin semiconductors of the type MX2, with M a transition-metal atom and X a chalcogen atom. In this study investigation of mono transition MXene Ti3C2, Double transition MXene Mo2TiC2 and TMD MoS2 was presented.
