Abstract

An experimental study of the process of laser surfacing of finely dispersed aluminum oxide powder in the composition of a coating of graphite paste on the surface of stainless chromium-nickel steel grade 12X18N10T was carried out. The conducted experimental study is aimed at studying the change in the microstructure and characteristics of the surface layer as a result of modification using laser technology. Surfacing was carried out in the continuous radiation mode with a change in the processing speed, radiation power and density of scanning lines. The paper presents the results of the study of the modified surface, a comparison of the microhardness indicators of the surface layer of the material, a comparison of the roughness parameters and an optical analysis of the microstructure of the surface of the samples
