Abstract

The present work demonstrates the changes of the adipose tissue optical parameters during the temperature-mediated phase transitions. The samples of porcine abdominal fat were heated using a temperature-controlled table. Diffuse scattering and total transmission spectra were measured in the temperature range from 25 to 70°C using spectrophotometer with integrating sphere. The absorption and reduced scattering coefficients of the adipose tissue were calculated separately for each spectral point using the inverse addition-doubling method and analyzed.
The study was supported by a grant of the Russian Science Foundation No. 24-44-00082.
