Abstract
In the field of acupuncture diagnostics, important problems are the localization of acupuncture points (AP) and the search for ways to influence them. In addition, the processes occurring in AP during optical influences have been practically not studied.
Currently, AP localization is carried out in three ways - by topography (using acupuncture atlases), by pain effect (in case of disruption of the activity of the corresponding organ) and by the resistance of the skin in the AP area. The relevance lies in the study of luminescence reactions under the influence of an optical pulse in the AP area and the creation of a basis for conducting additional studies of the physical processes occurring during the procedure of visualization of AP using the optical method.1. A new method for localizing AP is proposed, based on the principle of their visualization under the influence of optical pulses and the study of AP glow patterns.
2. A model for transmitting information from AP to the brain and back is developed, taking into account the optical transmission path, based on:
- analysis of AP morphology.
- assumed physical processes occurring in the skin in the AP area.
