Energy theory of carcinogenesis. Why and how cancer and metastases occur
Victor Ovsyannikov, Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute
Abstract
The paper proposes the mechanism of transformation of the properties of cell genomes from normal into malignant ones resulting in formation of malignant neoplasms in all living organisms on the Earth. In humans these neoplasms can appear at all stages of development starting from the stage of embryonic development. All causes of such transformation are accompanied by radiation in the ultraviolet range which suppresses the protective abilities of the organism (latent stage). Then ultraviolet radiation is absorbed in the cellular DNA bases and causes changes of the arrangement of atoms in their molecular structure. If these changes occurred in the proto-oncogene genome region, it can turn into an active oncogene. This is how the process of formation of a primary tumor nodule starts. The genetic material with the formed genetic properties can get to other regions of the organism via the blood circulatory system. In the process of its fitting into the genome of a new cell it must receive additional energy and acquire new properties, for example, the properties of accelerated maturation and replication. This is how metastases emerge. The proposed theory has already allowed introduction of new laser methods of treatment of oncological patients in clinics.
