Localized plasmons in nanoparticles: calculation methods

Abstract
Rigorous electrodynamic and approximate quasi-static methods for the analysis of localized plasmons in conducting particles are presented. It is shown that the surface plasmon resonance method provides good accuracy for determining the natural frequencies of localized plasmons.
