Number systems for the programmer

Abstract

Systems for representing integers in a positional system with base p are considered. Particular attention is paid to issues that are not usually covered in training courses (uniqueness of representation, complementary code). In addition, three non-standard number systems are considered - ternary balanced, factorial and Fibonacci.
Not only the representations of numbers in these systems are considered, but also the features of arithmetic.
