Abstract
The 17th century played a special role in the history of physics. It's hard to stop just listing the names of prominent people of that time, framed by a symmetrical composition of geniuses - Galileo, Newton and Pascal. But more importantly, in this century were the origins of all the main branches of classical physics, mechanics, gas science, electricity and optics. More importantly, the method of physics, its style and spirit began to take shape here.
