Vibration error in a fiber-optic gyroscope
D.M. Spiridonov / Saratov State University
Abstract
One of the external influences that have a significant impact on the accuracy of fiber-optic gyroscopes (FOG) is vibration. The impact of vibration can lead to two different distortions of the FOG output signal: an increase in the variable component of the signal and a constant displacement of the random variable. The report presents the results of a practical study of the effect of vibration on the FOG exemplar, as well as the results obtained when changing the algorithm of the compensating feedback loop.
