Abstract

Early diagnosis of skin malignancies, including melanomas of the skin, remains challenging, topical, and socially-important problem, which is confirmed by statistical data on morbidity and mortality of population in Russian Federation and other countries.
t. At the same time, the existing diagnosis methods and instruments, which are widely applied in clinical practice, do not provide sufficient accuracy. This fact is approved by statistics of malignancy diagnosis and determined stages.
A prospective way to enhance the efficiency of non-invasive early express-diagnosis of skin malignancies is associated with the use of mobile systems combining various methods and hardware for express diagnostics (preliminary examination) and clarifying diagnostics (additional examination) of suspicious skin neoplasms. One of the effective methods of express diagnostics is digital processing of optical images of the skin surface with subsequent automatic determination of the clinical parameters of neoplasms. At the same time, a clarifying express examination can be carried out using digital dermatoscopy using image recognition technologies (examination in the visible region of the spectrum).
The combination of the above methods of express diagnostics made it possible to examine suspicious neoplasms, form a set of signs reflecting both superficial and deep features of the structure of a neoplasm, which is necessary for making a diagnosis and developing a treatment strategy. The listed methods of express diagnostics adapted for examining hardto-reach areas of the skin and express analysis of biological tissues.
