Abstract

Biological rhythms play a significant role in maintaining the body's homeostasis under the conditions of cyclic environmental changes. In the modern world a human faces various factors disturbing the "biological clock" of the organism. One of the most common disorders of biorhythms is light desynchronosis. It is based on violation of light-dark cycles as a result of continuous exposure to artificial light. Light deprivation, in turn, leads to a disturbance of synchronism of physiological processes with cyclic environmental events and, consequently, leads to the development of stress. One of the most important factors in the development of microcirculatory bed pathology is the functional activity of platelets. The study is devoted to the comparative analysis of the influence of experimental models of light desynchronosis of different intensity on the functional activity of platelets. The objects of the study were nonlinear mongrel male white rats, which were divided into several groups: control and 3 experimental, which were subjected to light exposure according to the 0:24 (LL) and 12:10 and 18:6 (LD) models for 10 days. Platelet activity was evaluated according to the method of V.A. Gabbasov et al. (1989) using a computerized dual channel laser aggregation analyzer 230LA "Biola". To assess the dynamics of changes in the aggregation activity of blood platelets we used indices of the weighted average platelet radius curve and light transmission curve. During the study in all experimental groups significant changes in the system of platelet hemostasis in the direction of hypercoagulation induced by light exposure were revealed.
