Abstract

Phenomenon of synchronization attracts much attention from the point of
view of technical applications, such as a wide-band communication and a
radio-location. Mostly attractive here it seems to be the synchronization
of the systems with the strange, on the one hand, but robust, on the other
hand, dynamics. The property of robustness is inhered to one special type of
chaotic behavior, named the hyperbolic chaos. A number of radio-physically
implementable models of the generators with the hyperbohic chaotic attractors
is developed since 2005, see book [SP Kuznetsov. Hyperbolic chaos: A physicist's
view. Springer. 2011]. The generators with another example of the strange,
and nonchaotic, attractor, posessing robustness, is also mentioned in citation.
In present work we investigate the mechanisms of transition to synchronous
regime in symmetrically and unidirectionally coupled such generators.
We investigate dynamical and statistical characteristics of such transitions,
make the Lyapunov analysis. Special attention is paid to the proofs, more and
less direct, of the robustness of the full and generalized synchrony phases.
We propose several schemes of wide-band communication, which functional
elements (transmitter and receiver) are the systems with robust strange
attractors.
