Abstract

The possibility of magnetic separation of objects from the fluid flow (blood flow) was investigated at various flow rates, the size of the objects and the amount of magnetic material. The boundaries of the parameter values at which the effective accumulation of material is observed are shown. Restrictions on the maximum amount of accumulated material are estimated for various combinations of parameters. The evaluation was carried out in the flow of blood and model fluids on a flow cytometer with magnetic separation of objects developed within the framework of the project.

The research was supported by Russian Science Foundation (RSF project No18-19-00354)
