Abstract
The development of a high-power pulsed semiconductor laser with a wavelength in the range of 940 nm, a pulse duration of 100 ns, and a repetition rate of up to 10,000 Hz is reported. The average power of the laser pulse is 7.5 kW, the optical output power density of the laser exceeds 9.5 kW/cm2. The main areas of laser application are biophotonics, laser medicine, materials processing and scientific research.
