Abstract

Low-dimensional layers of close-packed semiconductor nanoparticles are of particular interest as a platform for creating various optically, electrically, and thermally controlled functional materials. Among other semiconductors, nanostructured anatase has very specific electrical properties due to indirect band gap, strong interaction of conduction electrons with the lattice, and an abundance of surface and bulk traps. The paper presents the results of computer simulation and analysis of experimental data on the photoconductivity dynamics in low-dimensional layers of nanostructured anatase near the percolation threshold under pulsed laser irradiation.
