Abstract
Abstract— Oral fluid assessment before and after the in office whitening procedure was carried out using the Raman spectroscopy method. The patients aged 18-32 were studied. The oral fluid was collected in the morning using sterile vials and then it was frozen at -20ºС. The vials were defrosted for 10 hours at +3ºС.All samples were divided in 4 groups: oral fluid before, after, two weeks after and one month after the procedure of teeth whitening. Spectral change in the oral fluid composition after the tooth whitening procedure related to the change in lipid organic composition was detected.
