Round table: Is a synthesis of science and religion possible?

Abstract

In connection with the growing manifestations of the systemic crisis of civilization – ideological, ecological, socio-economic – there is a need to create a holistic spiritual, psycho-physical picture of the world as a philosophical synthesis of scientific, religious and existential-personal aspects of the worldview, to which famous philosophers come (V.S. Stepin, B.V. Markov, V.V. Mironov, A.V. Ivanov, etc.) and scientists (N.N. Moiseev, A.A. Logunov, Yu. Wigner, Ch. Townes, etc.). On the basis of cosmological representations of ancient cultures and the results of modern research, the author offers a scientific and philosophical concept of holistic reality.
