Abstract

Spectroflourometry is a method taking advantage of flourescent molecules in a given medium with the aim to measure their concentration. Using spectoflourometry of urine as medium for detection of diseases needs knowledge of the influences of specific food contaminations. In this study, flourescence spectra of urine after specific food consumption (e.g. vitamins, supplements, foods, …) were measured. Based on this knowledge the interpretation of spectra for disease diagnosis can be improved.
