Speckle correlometry approach with acoustic modulation in application to multi-phase media structure characterization

Abstract

Speckle correlometry approach is based on the processing of the experimentally obtained multiple-scattered by multi-phase media signals. The statistical analysis of the intensity distributions caused by the multiple scattered radiation (evaluating such characteristic as contrast, structural and correlation functions, etc.) give the opportunity to evaluate the structural morphology of the investigate media and the dynamic processes occurring inside the media. In this work the investigation of foamy phantoms under the influence of an acoustic wave by use of the full field speckle correlometry method is represented.
