Abstract
The paper considers the method of Fourier analysis of speckle history of the intensity of scattered laser radiation as a diagnostic approach to study the features of microscopic dynamics of highly porous polymer matrices in the process of their formation. This method is based on generation and subsequent Fourier-transformation of speckle history maps, formed by laser radiation scattering in the synthesized polymer foam. Samples of foamed polylactide previously plasticized in an atmosphere of subcritical/supercritical carbon dioxide were investigated. The correlation between the features of speckle history Fourier images and the conditions of polylactide foaming (in particular, the rate of pressure release during foaming) was revealed.
