Abstract
The study of the statistical properties of the method of analysis of directional couplings based on modeling of phase dynamics is carried out. Testing of the method was carried out by analyzing two hourly simultaneously recorded time series of interbeat intervals and respiration of two healthy young subjects. The analysis was carried out in sliding windows with a duration of five minutes. There was revealed a correlation between the values of the total percentage of phase synchronization, the values of the directional coupling coefficients and spectral indices.
