Synchronization of traveling waves in memristively coupled rings of FitzHugh-Nagumo neurons

Abstract
Two rings of dissipatively coupled FitzHugh-Nagumo oscillators in an excitable regime with memristive coupling between the rings are considered. The synchronization of traveling waves propagating in rings is studied for the case of identical rings and for the case of two rings with different values of the internal coupling coefficients. A feature of the memristive interaction is shown, which consists in the dependence of the synchronization boundary on the initial state of the memristive communication elements.
