Structure and hardness of carbide coatings formed on complex-shaped steel products

Abstract
In this work, the possibility of using the technology of electrospark alloying for the formation of carbide coatings on complex-shaped steel products was investigated. Using the methods of optical and electron microscopy, the parameters of the structure of the formed layers are determined. The qualitative and quantitative indicators of hardness and adhesive-cohesive strength of the applied coatings have been determined.
