Abstract

Tangential temperature displacements of objects with a rough surface scattering laser radiation were investigated. Experimental studies were carried out using a laser speckle interferometer of transverse displacements with illuminating Gaussian beams and digital recording of interference patterns in far-field diffraction region. Based on the experimental data obtained, graphs of tangential displacements of parts of electronic devices were plotted as a result of their temperature heating and subsequent cooling. On the basis of diffraction transformations of the optical wave field, a mathematical model has been developed for the formation of speckle-modulated interference patterns and signals at the output of a speckle interferometer, which makes it possible to reveal their properties and quantitative parameters. The results of experimental studies of the transverse temperature displacements of the object confirm the results of numerical simulation of spatial-time signals at the output of the speckle interferometer in the range of displacements up to 400 micrometers.
