Abstract

Due to the attractive potential application in bioimaging and therapy, the use of upconverting nanoparticles is one of the most investigated methods for luminescence monitoring from deep tissue. Thus, the current work is focused on the study of changes monitoring in the luminescent signal from [Y2O3: Yb, Er] upconverting particles (UPs) located under tissue layers. The results show the difference in luminescence signal from different sections of muscle tissue specimens. This study may help to find out the expedient directions of fiber tissues incisions for tracking the movements of encapsulated drugs within the blood vessels by the luminescence of nanoparticles contained in a capsule is more effective and less time-consuming. The optical clearing method (OC) was used to cause the image contrast increasing of the structure.
