Optical activity of micellar aqueous solutions Pluronic F-127

Abstract
The optical activity of the aggregated micellar phase Pluronic F-127, which is used to obtain thermosensitive chitosan-containing hydrogels, has been studied by polarization microscopy and dispersion of optical activity. It was found that the transition from unimers to micelles in solution accompanied by varying the magnitude and sign of the specific optical rotation over a wide range. Self-assembly of micelles was visualized during the liquid-hydrogel phase transition.
