ROUND TABLE: "Thermodynamics of the mind": to the question of the fundamental asymmetry of the cognitive process

Abstract
The material of the history of cognition proves that the cognitive process is essentially asymmetric, which is comparable to the asymmetry of thermodynamic processes. The "natural vector" of theoretical thinking is aimed at finding a single in the plural and identical in the differing. This can be compared to the desire for an equilibrium state that is organic to the mind. The opposite movement, from identical to differences and from single to multiple, causes resistance of the mind and requires additional "energy costs."
