Dispersion forces in one-dimensional and two-dimensional structures
Michael Davidovich, Saratov State University, Saratov, Russia
Abstract
We consider one-dimensional, quasi-one-dimensional and two-dimensional structures interacting due to the Casimir-Lifshitz dispersion forces. Thin conductive filaments, graphene nanofilms, carbon nanotubes, and graphene sheets are considered as structures. An approach based on the fluctuation-dissipation theorem with the use of Green's functions of electrodynamics is used. The results are presented in the form of integrals, for which, in some cases, analytical estimates are obtained.
