Abstract

In this paper, the adaptation of the Karunen-Loev spatial transformation approach to the tasks of processing neurodata is considered. The possibilities of analyzing the distribution of spatial KL-modes are demonstrated by the example of EEG signals of the occipital region of the brain to describe the spatially distributed processes occurring in them. The application of this approach is illustrated by the calculation of the classical assessment of the power of alpha activity for neuroscience and the analysis of the reaction speed to the visual stimulus of the patient. The experimental material was obtained from a comorbid patient with hypersomnia during a multiple sleep latency test.
