Abstract

This work examines the issue of identifying individual characteristics in subjects during long-term cognitive tests. In the present experiment, 23 subjects took part, of which 7 showed the greatest difference between the amplitudes of the characteristic components of the cognitive evoked potential in the frontal lobe, the same in the occipital lobe. And in 9 subjects, the maximum value of M took between the frontal and occipital lobes, near the motor cortex.
The selection of these individual features is easy to perform automatically, dividing the channels into the corresponding areas and calculating the sum of the parameters of the magnitude of the characteristic components of the cognitive evoked potential M (the difference between the amplitudes of the N2 and P3 components) for each area. After that, a comparison of the total values obtained gives an idea of which part of the brain the cognitive evoked potentials are more pronounced. Further, this information can be used when configuring BCI.
