Epileptiform activity generation by an ensemble of complete electronic FitzHugh-Nagumo oscillators connected by a sigmoid couplings

Abstract

In this paper, we want to show that FitzHugh-Nagumo neuron-like oscillators, connected through the sigmoid function, are able to demonstrate a transition to epileptiform activity when a short-term external stimulus is applied.
