Abstract
Upconversion nanoparticles can be used to determine the temperature in biological objects. In this work, we are research the dependence of biological tissue temperature determination error from the luminescence of upconversion nanoparticles through a biological tissue layer on the type of biological tissue, intravenous administration of nanoparticles, and the depth of nanoparticles in biological tissue. Attenuation of light wield major influence on biological tissue temperature determination error. Scattering prevails in the exsanguinated biological tissue, which leads to positive values of the error. Absorption has a significant advantage in the blood-filled tissue, and the error becomes negative.
