Abstract

In this work, the process of the effect of heating by high-frequency currents on technical grade titanium grade 2 (analogue of VT1-0) was studied. The main heating parameters were the inductor current 2.9-3.6 A at a voltage of 80 V and a processing time of up to 300 s. For the selected modes, abrasion tests will be carried out with the results of microhardness data (11-16 GPa) and the values of the friction coefficient will be compared, the expected values are 0.45-0.75.
