Abstract
The work carried out operational tests of the layered "steel-titanium-oxide" structure. The system is obtained by resistance welding and subsequent induction processing. The effect of technological modes of chemical thermal treatment on the formation of a wear-resistant oxide layer has been investigated. Induction heat treatment (IHT) took place at a working current of Iwork=280-290A and a holding time t=60-180s. The study of the operational properties of the samples obtained under different modes of induction treatment was carried out by turning steel 45. The hardness along the section of the layered structure, which was equal to 15-8 GPa, was also investigated.
