Abstract
THz pulsed spectroscopy with advanced chemometrics was used to study liquid and lyophilized blood plasma of healthy individuals and those with thyroid cancer. It was shown that THz optical characteristics of patient blood plasma significantly differ from these in samples of healthy people. The difference is due to a change in plasma composition during the development of the disease.
