Abstract
Fascinating progress in understanding our world at the smallest scales is moving us to the border of a new technological revolution governing by quantum physics. Taking advantages of the use of quantum phenomena, such as superposition and entanglement, quantum computing devices allow operating with exponentially large space, which provides a speed-up in solving various tasks. Quan-um computing is believed to be powerful for solving problems ranging from cryptoanalysis up to simulating complex objects such as biological systems. In this talk, we discuss the impact of quantum computing on various field of information technologies.
