Abstract
The paper considers laser processing of commercial titanium in graphite powder. The effect of the duration and energy laser pulse on the microhardness of titanium is investigated. Regression models are constructed that describe the effect of laser processing conditions on the hardness of the formed layers. The possibility of forming layers on titanium characterized by the microhardness HV1.96 2164 ± 268 has been established.
