Abstract

Three models of dynamical systems connected with nonlinear inertial elements of memristive type are investigated. These are two identical chaos generators with nonlinear inertial coupling, described by ordinary differential equations, two logistic maps with nonlinear inertial coupling of a similar type, and a two-level multiplex network of logistic maps with inertial nonlinear coupling between layers. For three models, the general property of the memristive interaction is shown, which is the dependence of the synchronization boundary on the initial state of the coupling elements. It has been established that this property is observed not only for an ideal memristive coupling, but also persists in the case when the coupling elements are memristive-type elements with the properties of slow forgetting.
