Calculations of output power of the graphene-based terahertz laser

Abstract

We present theoretical aspects of the nonlinear theory of terahertz (THz) lasing in the cavity containing graphene-based asymmetric hyperbolic metamaterial (AHMM). The laser output power is calculated taking into account the saturation intensity of the laser transition, unsaturated gain, losses and transmission of output mirror. An approach for implementation of the THz laser is discussed.
