Coherent states and molecular rotation control

Abstract

The method of coherent states on dynamic Lie groups is used to describe the interaction of molecules with structured electromagnetic fields. The quantum control of molecular rotation is investigated. In the case of a symmetric top, the interaction with an external dissipative medium is taken into account. Possible applications in photonics and quantum informatics are considered.
