Abstract
The work is devoted to the study of the influence of glycated proteins on the spectral characteristics of luminescent probes. As a result of the analysis of the excitation and fluorescence spectra of the probes, it was found that the position of the maximum and the shape of the spectra do not change with an increase in the content of glycated proteins in a solution of human serum albumin (HSA). The Stern-Volmer constant for quenching of the fluorescence of the probes was determined. It is assumed that the fluorescence quenching is associated with the interactions of probes with HSA glycation products. Also we carried out studies of the polarization of fluorescence spectra of HSA and glycated HSA (gHSA) and, accordingly, their mixtures.
