Abstract
Modern drugs are complex therapeutic systems. Combined preparations containing two or more medicinal substances are convenient to use, allow you to enhance and expand the pharmacological action, and level out side effects. The presence in them of substances similar in physical and chemical properties requires in most cases a laborious procedure for preliminary separation of components and complicates the quality control of dosage forms.
In this regard, the aim of the work was to assess the possibility of using the spectrophotometry method in combination with the method of principal components to control the quality of tablets "Papazol" according to the indicator "Uniformity of dosage".
For the study, Papazol tablets from two Russian manufacturers were selected. The processing of the spectral data of the tablet solutions by the PCA method showed that the drugs form a single cluster on the score chart, which confirms the uniformity of dosing of the main active ingredients. An express spectrophotometric technique with a chemometric algorithm has been developed. The correctness and reproducibility of the developed technique was statistically assessed and the possibility of using chemometric algorithms for quality control by the indicator "Dosing uniformity" was shown.
